Four ways in, from scoping to ownership

They escalate with commitment. Most clients start with a Sprint or a project and move to a retainer once there's an ongoing function worth owning.

How working with us escalates

The four services are designed to escalate as your commitment and your automation needs grow:

1. Discovery Sprint (£1,500, one week) — the low-risk entry point. A paid scoping exercise that maps your processes and gives you a costed plan you can act on however you like — take it in-house, or use it as the foundation for a build.
2. Automation consulting (£8k–£30k fixed) — project work to build a defined set of automations, scoped from the Sprint. Flat fee, no hourly billing.
3. AI automation — the AI-specific builds, where AI genuinely earns its place: agents, document AI, AI support and internal assistants. Also framed as our AI automation agency.
4. Fractional Chief Automation Officer (£5k–£15k/mo) — our core offering. Ongoing ownership of the whole automation function, a few days a month, once there's a continuing job worth owning.

Whatever the engagement, the principles are the same: independent of every platform with no commissions, flat fee never hourly, and a firm preference for the lightest tool that does the job. We map the process before picking the software, and we'll tell you honestly when automation isn't the right answer at all.
